We’re glad you have stopped by to learn what we’re all about. Check out our frequently asked questions, and contact us if you have any more questions. We hope to see you soon!

About Us (1)

The Church of God of Prophecy has churches around the world and stemmed from a non-denominational Pentecostal holiness movement. All of our teachings are Biblically based, and we use the Bible as a guide for our spiritual journey. As followers of Christ, we are actively pursuing to be holy and more like Him. Everyone has imperfections and room for growth. We want you to come as you are and to accept our invitation to grow in Christ together.

There are several ways for you to stay in the loop. The best way to receive announcements is to subscribe to our mailing lists. You can also take a look at our calendar to get a monthly view of events. Lastly, you can stay up-to-date on events through social media. If you don’t have Internet access, that’s not a problem! Our Public Relations team shares our events every Sunday during the worship service, and we also have printed church bulletins.

We would love to have you participate in our ministries. Simply fill out this form, and we will contact you soon.

Baby dedications are held on the second Sunday of each month. Applications for baby dedication must be submitted one month in advance of the event. Applications can be submitted to the church clerk or placed in the offering plate during offering time.

Membership in the Church of God of Prophecy is open to anyone who is a born again Christian. You will be asked to make a verbal covenant, which will join you with our local and international bodies. Speak with Pastor Clark or fill out the contact form to express your interest in membership.

What to Expect (9)

On Sundays, we have Sunday School classes for all ages beginning at 9:45 a.m. Our worship service starts at 11 a.m. We suggest arriving a few minutes early so you can be seated before service begins. Service is usually dismissed shortly after 1 p.m. We also have a weekly Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. and Prayer Service every second Saturday at 10 a.m.

Most of our membership’s attire ranges from dressy casual to Sunday Best. However, we do encourage everyone to beat the heat and dress down in the summer months. Come as you are. What matters most is your presence.

You can sit wherever you like. If the sanctuary is near capacity, the ushers will help you find a seat.

We are committed to helping children grow from having knowledge of Christ to developing a relationship with Him. The King’s Kids Children’s Ministry lays a biblical foundation for school-aged children through 8th grade. Their spiritual development is accomplished through worship, effective teaching, and playful interaction in an exciting, loving environment. While we realize it can be difficult to leave your child in the care of others, we want to assure you that our staff has a genuine love for children and for what they do. Upon your arrival, our church ushers will gladly escort your child to our Children’s Ministry service. If your child requires special accommodations or has any allergies, please bring it to the attention of the staff person on duty in your child’s classroom.

Our praise and worship music is contemporary, but it is often blended with traditional hymns. The song selections are very diverse, and you may hear anything from the latest Israel Houghton song to Caribbean tunes that will have you dancing in the aisles.

We encourage you to stand during praise and worship if you are able to do so, and we also ask that you stand during the scripture readings at the beginning of service and before the sermon begins. Make yourself at home and worship freely at your own comfort level.

We love visitors, and we look forward to meeting you! Upon your arrival, please take a moment to stop by our guest services desk in the foyer. One of our greeters will welcome you, give you a connection card, and answer any questions you may have. Once you enter the sanctuary, take a seat wherever you feel comfortable and make yourself at home.

Be sure to reconnect with guest services before leaving so we can collect your connection card and present you with a special gift.

At the end of service, we invite anyone needing prayer to meet us at the altar. We encourage you to step right up with no reservations or feelings of shame. We all have needs and circumstances to pray about, both new and long-time believers alike. Our ministers, deacons, and prayer warriors welcome the opportunity to pray with you. If you aren’t ready to pray at the altar, feel free to pray at your seat. During this time of prayer, we ask that everyone remain in the sanctuary to avoid distracting those who are seeking the Lord in prayer.
You can also send us your prayer requests and praise reports online at any time.

Yes, Communion is served on first Sundays. Please do not feel obligated to participate. You should only partake in Communion if you have received salvation and committed yourself to the Lord.
